Friendship Circle Gets $318,000 Check from Skechers
Last October, the fifth annual Pier-to-Pier Friendship Walk in southern California broke its personal record by raising $1 million for the sake of special needs children. A few weeks ago, Skechers followed up on their pledge with a check for $318,000, delivered to Rabbi Yossi Mintz, director of Chabad of Redondo Beach, CA and the local chapter of the Friendship Circle.

$40,000 Worth of Supplies for Nepal Seder Stuck in India
As a shipping container full of quantities of matzah, wine, grape juice, kosher-for-Passover food stuffs, hagaddahs and other Passover necessities sits in the cargo hold at port in Calcutta, India, with no word of imminent release, thousands of Israelis and other Jewish visitors traveling in Nepal are concerned. A full-blown strike by Israel’s Foreign Ministry that began Sunday, only weeks away from Passover, now leaves many are wondering if the famous Seders in the Himalayas coordinated by Chabad of Nepal, will be cancelled.

Orange County Chabad Celebrates Decade of Outreach
More than 210 friends came to celebrate and support Chabad of Orange County, NY at the “Decade of Dedication Benefit Gala,” led by Shluchim Rabbi Pesach and Chana Burston. The purpose of the event, Chabad’s first Gala, was to celebrate the community milestone of Chabad’s first decade of service in Orange County, pay tribute to the supporters who make it happen, and say L’chaim to future decades!
