Two beautiful wooden gazebos were recently donated by Hershey Chitrik and his mother Slava to Gan Yisroel-Parksville in loving memory of Shmuel ben R’ Aaron Chitrik, OBM, a former staff-member in camp who passed away on the 20th of Tammuz during the summer of 1987.
Yesterday afternoon, the anti-child-abuse organization Jewish Community Watch launched a fundraising campaign in anticipation of the relaunching of their website, with the goal of raising $100,000 in 24 hours. Barely halfway through the day, the funds were already raised.

An exciting and tasty barbecue graced East 22nd Street and Avenue I in Flatbush, in front of the home of Pinny and Yaffa Rand, yesterday, July 23rd.
