Israel doesn’t have a partner in peace. It doesn’t take 41 years to negotiate an understanding that we have a right not to be slaughtered. If we would have a peace partner, it should take no longer than 41 minutes to negotiate an eternal ceasefire.

Gimmel Tammuz Special: Late Friday night, I walk the quiet streets of Crown Heights. Families are sitting around their Shabbos tables; the sounds of clatter and song drift from open windows on this cool night. I am making my way to the home of Harav Yoel Kahan, or Reb Yoel, as he is known. Each Friday night, he spends precious time with his students – who are like children to him – during the Shabbos meal.
Hundreds of children gathered for a rally in front of 770 this afternoon in honor of Gimmel Tammuz, where they sang songs with entertainer Chaim Fogelman and sat enthralled by storyteller Yitzy Erps.
