While at his previous performance Shai looked like your typical Israeli from Tel Aviv, this time he came dressed differently – and with an added surprise for the audience and judges.

New Aspen Chabad Center Opening Reflects Warmth and Beauty of Its Surroundings

And so it was fitting that, early in the event, with the backdrop of those iconic Rocky Mountains, Colorado Congressman Scott Tipton presented Chabad Rabbi Mendel Mintz with a flag that once flew over the nation’s capital.

For two days, campers and staff at Gan Yisroel in Parksville, NY participated in plays, competitions, songs, comedy skits and – most importantly – Mishnayos Ba’al Peh. The battle between the two teams culminated in the ‘Grand Sing,’ where the entire camp gathered in the Shul for hours of lively song and inspiration.
