Chabad at the Shore Honors IDF Veterans
This past Friday Night, Chabad at the Shore hosted a Friday Night Dinner to honor members of the Community who served in the Israel Defense Forces. 16 individuals from the Greater Atlantic City area were honored by Chabad, and more than 120 participated in the event.

Ukrainian Jews Flee War Zones
Anna Kroll sighs with relief. She’s grateful for the opportunity to care for her month-old daughter in the comfort and quiet of the Chabad-run old age home in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, where she has found refuge. The Lugansk native watched her hometown erupt in violence over the past few months. Recently, as the situation grew more dangerous, she escaped with her extended family and newborn to Eastern Ukraine’s largest Jewish community, where she was welcomed with open arms.

A Determined Resolve as Israel Buries Its Fallen Soldiers
As funerals for soldiers killed in battle over the weekend were held throughout Israel, the Israel Defense Forces announced that seven more ground troops and officers had died on Monday. As family, friends and fellow soldiers gathered to mourn the fallen, there was a determined resolve that was palpable everywhere.
