At the request of a Chabad House in China the Zomet Institute of Halacha and Technology developed a ‘Shabbat Friendly’ walkie talkie, which according to them, can be used on Shabbos.

CGI NY Campers Enjoy Surprise Grand Trip
The Staff Play of Camp Gan Israel, 5775, was to take place this past Monday night. At least, that’s what everyone thought. Posters were put up, scenes rehearsed, backdrops painted, but several scenes into the play, it was revealed to the astonished campers that this was actually an elaborate breakout for the grand trip.

The Rebbe’s Annual Call for Summertime Tznius

Wilmette Savors the Warmth of a New Jewish Center
Good things are worth waiting for, and the new home of the Chabad Center for Jewish Life and Learning in Wilmette, Ill., certainly fits that category. After spending more than 20 years in temporary spaces that included, of all places, a funeral home, the 8,500-square-foot building on Chicago’s North Shore is a dream come true for the Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries and the community they serve.
