Nine items which used to belong to the Lubavitcher Rebbe or have been associated with him – including a Tehillim, a Siddur andShabbos dinner tableware – were sold to collector last week for a total sum of more than NIS 300,000 (about $80,000).

UK Shluchim Rejuvenated at Kinus
There are 117 families of Chabad-Lubavitch Shluchim in the UK. Last week, 84 of those Shluchim gathered for the annual Chabad Lubavitch UK Kinus Hashluchim that was held in the magnificent setting of Bosworth Hall Hotel (part of the Britannia Group) in the picturesque village of Market Bosworth, Leicestershire.

Camp Yeka: It’s All About the Kids
Over 120 Jewish Children came from 15 different cities and villages across Ukraine to have the summer of their lives in Camp Yeka, many of them hailing from orphanages. Yeka’s group of dedicated volunteer staff from all across the western hemisphere raised the cost of their flights and the funds to make camp a reality for these children.

BRDC Celebrates Nursing Home Resident’s 104th Birthday
Marking the start of ‘The Three Weeks,’ campers at Bais Rivkah Day Camp had a most exciting and meaningful ‘Ahavas Yisroel Week.’ On Monday, over 70 campers drove over to Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, where they participated in resident Esther Sandler’s 104th birthday party.

House Burns Down Near Toronto Chabad Cheder
A massive blaze broke out in a Thornhill home that was under construction, sending plumes of thick black smoke that was visible for miles. The fire was in close proximity to the Shmuel Zahavy Cheder Chabad, which was not damaged in the blaze.

Group of 4 Mischief-doers Apprehended after Robbery
A group of four teenagers prowling the streets of Crown Heights caught the eye of a patrolling Shomrim Volunteer who began following them. Nearly an hour later they were caught in the midst of stealing a pair of bicycles.
