Man Takes His Own Life After Daughter Isn’t Accepted By School
Hours after the apparent suicide of a Sefardi man in Israel, an area rabbi is pointing the finger of blame at the administrators of a local Chareidi school, saying that it was their refusal to accept the deceased’s daughter into their institution that drove him to take his own life.

Hebrew School Teachers to Train with CKids
This Monday evening, over 70 Hebrew School teachers will join a “mind shifting” teacher training at the JCM. The event promises to be inspirational and fun with gourmet dinner and interactive workshops. “Teacher’s carry the most important role in a child’s Hebrew school experience and equipping them with professional development is a must.” Said Mrs. Mussie Weiss, CKids’ Hebrew School Coordinator.

Princeton University Set to Install Eruv
As the result of a collaborative effort between members of its Jewish community and school officials, Princeton University has announced it will install an eruv across its campus and throughout other areas of town to accommodate observant Jews.

One of the minhagim which the talmidim of United Lubavitcher Yeshiva-Crown St. have learned regarding the month of Elul is to check one’s tefillin and mezuzos. The yeshiva’s 7th grade wasted no time and got a sofer, Rabbi Levi Ladaev, to come down to their class and together check their Mezuzos.
