Rebbe’s Secretary and ‘Tzadik of Leningrad’ Farbreng
Congregation Beis Medrash Eliezer Yitzchok of Crown Heights hosted a Farbrengen last night in honor of Yud Shvat, led by Rabbi Leibel Groner, secretary of the Rebbe, and Rabbi Yitzchok Kogan, known as the ‘Tzadik from Leningrad,’ who risked his life to spread Judaism in the USSR and continues to do so with the same vigor today.
