Weekly Letter: Sanctity of Marriage Helped our Survival in Egypt
In this weeks letter, presented in honor of Shabbos Pesach, The Rebbe responds to one suggesting that when two people have good feelings towards one another – why the need for formal marriage and “legal agreement” – where the Rebbe clarifies the misconception of marriage as a mere “legal contract”. It is the sanctity of married life which played a large role in our survival of the Egyptian enslavement. The letter, written originally in English, is from the archives of the Rebbe’s trusted secretary Rabbi Nissan Mindel.

657 Merkos Shlichus Bochurim Arrived at 350 Locations
The last of the volunteer Merkos Shlichus bochurim are arriving at their Pesach seder locations. Since the beginning of the week, 657 bochurim have arrived at 350 places in every corner of the globe, where they will arrange sedarim for thousands of Jews, most of whom would otherwise not have attended a Pesach seder.
Over 1,500 Expected at the Seder in Cusco, Peru
At the Chabad house in Cusco, Peru, the preparations for the world’s largest Seder are in full swing. 1,500 travelers will come to the Chabad from all over South America to celebrate the holiday.

Alternate Side Parking Rules Suspended March 29 – April 1
Alternate side parking (street cleaning) regulations are suspended on Thursday, March 29, 2018; Friday, March 30, 2018; and Saturday-Sunday, March 31 and April 1, 2018 for Passover (1st/2nd Days). All other regulations, including parking meters, remain in effect.
