Ahead of Sukkos, Agudas Yisroel of America Works With Government Agencies To Avoid Problems With The Arba Minim
As in past years, Agudath Israel of America’s Washington Office has worked closely with agencies of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to help avoid potential problems for travelers carrying arba minim.
For many years, overhanging branches along streets bordering Washington Cemetery and Greenwood Cemetery, located on the outskirts of Boro Park and Midwood, have prevented Kohanim from traveling along these roads. Thanks to Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein, that problem has been resolved.

Nshei Chabad invites all women and girls to attend a grand Hakhel Farbrengen in honor of Rosh Chodesh Kislev to celebrate our Rebbe's return home. The jubilent joy at the Rebbe's miraculous recovery in 5738 is experienced by Chabad Chassidim all over. We hope you join Neshei Chabad in unity and joy. This event will host the inspirational speaker Meital Sher from Israel. Her story of returning home to her Jewish roots, how she overcame all obstacles with emuna, miracles and strength. Lead by Mushky Katzman and Rivka Lubin, the farbrengen will be celebrated with joyous singing and dancing with the singers Chavale Bronstein and Leah Simon and the composer Yona Rivka Kimelman. They will be accompanied by a live band with the performance of Esty Steinmitz and Mirele Rosenberger. We hope to celebrate this event with our final return home in geula with moshiach now.

At daybreak on Thursday, Rabbi Fishel Zaklos of Chabad of Naples sent a message to his community that Chabad was coordinating a volunteer medical rescue team together with helicopters from Hatzalah Air. “If you need food, water, medical attention or evacuation, please let us know. We’re here for you.”

With power out at Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida, Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz read from the Torah with community members shining flashlights. Chabad of Southwest Florida, located in Fort Myers, became a shelter and an island of safety from the severe damage wrecked by Hurricane Ian.
