A Coronavirus exposure took place in Crown Heights over Purim, bringing the virus into the heart of the Crown Heights Jewish community. Crown Heights Hatzalah has published information and guidelines concerning the virus.
Watch as President Donald Trump on Friday declared a national emergency to help handle the growing outbreak of the novel coronavirus. The action helps $50 billion flow to states fighting to contain the spread of the virus, which has infected almost 1,700 people.
With new restrictions on the amount of people able to congregate in one place, the Gabboim of 770 have limited the participation in 770 to 500 people. The gabboim made the request following the limit enacted by Governor Andrew Cuomo on the amount of people allowed to congregate.
