Instant panic and tefillah. Please Hashem let it be ok. And not be anyone I know.

The invocation preceded Governor Bruce Rauner’s annual “State of the State” address.

Young Israel Hosts Lecture on ‘Rav and Rebbe’

On Thursday, January 26, and Shabbos, January 28, Young Israel of Deerfield Beach, Florida, hosted Chabad author and lecturer Rabbi Chaim Dalfin. About 350 people attended both events, including such personalities as Rabbi Dr. Abraham Twerski, Rabbi Aaron Ziegler, retired army chaplain Col. Yaakov Goldstein and Rebbetzin Edelman of Springfield, MA.

The Gift of New Clothes for Russia’s Neediest Children

This winter, 5,000 needy Jewish children across Russia and Ukraine were once again the recipients of clothing gift certificates, a joint initiative of Chabad’s Federation of Jewish Communities of the CIS (FJC), the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ) headed by Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein and the Gloria Jeans clothing franchise.
