Have Rental Prices Peaked in Crown Heights?

According to a new rental market report by MNS Real Estate, average prices for newly listed studios in Crown Heights dropped 6.4% last month, from $2,072 a month in July to $1,939 in August.

Eurostars’ New Season Creates Buzz FSU-Wide

From Bobruisk in Belarus to Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan and everywhere in-between in the Former Soviet Union (FSU), the new 2017 EuroStars season officially opened last week. Over 1,800 Jewish college students signed up for the program ahead of the new year, with clubs opening in 44 cities and 9 FSU countries.

Rabbi Yosef Sitruk, a former chief rabbi of France for more than two decades who oversaw a growth in synagogues and Jewish schools, has passed away after a long illness. He was 71 years old.
