‘Lone Soldiers’ in Israel Receive Purim Packages Reminiscent of Home

Bringing a taste of home to those protecting Israel this Purim, Chayal el Chayal (“Soldier to Soldier”) brought mishloach manot, personal holiday letters written at Chabad centers around the world, along with general Purim joy to “lone soldiers” in the Israeli Defense Forces from the north to the south.

Fundraising Campaign Launched to Support the Kehaty Family

Last night the world suddenly and unexpectedly lost an incredible man with a special soul. A kind and giving father, husband, and son who was full of love and laughter. Nadiv Kehaty OBM leaves behind his wife and four children and the community of Itchkes Shteibel launched a fund to help with the family’s immediate expenses. Over $90,000 already raised!!

‘Purim in the Shtetel’ – in a Shtetel

With an old marketplace around the corner from the Chabad House and a regular scene of locals dressed in outfits right out of the ‘stories of Tzadikim’ books, the Shluchim in Sumy, Ukraine weren’t quite sure how a Purim party themed “in the Shtetl” would actually play out.

Historic CTeen Shabbaton Breaks Records

Times Square, the luminous crossroads of the world; the brightly lit up corner of the city is a universally known landmark. This year, at the 7th Annual CTeen International Shabbaton, the lights of Times Square were made brighter and stronger by the presence of 1,500 Jewish teens from across the globe, who gathered together this weekend to celebrate their heritage.
