Boruch Dayan Hoemes: Nadiv Kehati, 30, OBM

With great sadness, shock and deep pain we inform you of the tragic and very untimely passing of Nadiv Kehati, OBM, who suddenly fell ill Sunday afternoon. He was 30 years old, and leaves behind a wife and four children.

Nadiv, only 30-years-old, was attending his son’s siddur party in Oholei Torah Sunday afternoon when he suddenly collapsed.

Emergency medical personal rushed him to New York Methodist Hospital in Park Slope, where he later passed away.

He is survived by his wife Toby Kehaty and their children Moshe, Yuda, Shoshana and Yaakov.

He is also survived by his parents, R’ Uzzi and Rivkah Kehaty of New Orleans, and his siblings Talor Fine (Chicago, IL), Tzivyah Greenwald (Crown Heights), Mendel and Levi.

The Levaya will take place today, Monday, and will be leaving from Shomrei Hadas at 12:00pm and passing by 770 at around 12:45pm.

    I knew Nadiv for a short time when we studied together in Yeshiva. He was the embodiment of truly happy and good person. Always there to give a helping hand with his huge smile on his face.

    His passing – entirely too soon – is a loss to us all.

    Every Jewish life lost is a great one even if we don’t know them person. We are all brothers and sisters and a red such we are supposed to support everyone in hardship a red nd good times as well. Our sincere condolences to their family.
