Rav Adin Even Yisrael-Steinsaltz has been selected as the first recipient of the Presidential Prize the selection committee announced today, Thursday, 16 Shevat 5772. The committee is made up of President Shimon Peres, former president Yitzchak Navon and former president of the High Court of Justice Meir Shamgar.

About 200 people from the Monmouth County, NJ area enjoyed Shabbos at the Chabad House in Manalapan. The Scholar in Residence was Rabbi Shea Hecht, who spoke about marriage and cult busting, areas in which he has had much experience, as well as in counseling couples and teens.
