Educational Institute Oholei Torah, the flagship school of Chabad-Lubavitch, celebrated their 55th annual dinner this past Sunday at their Eastern Parkway Campus, in Brooklyn, NY.

Chabad at the Winter Olympics
The festivities of this past Shabbos in the hosting village of the Winter Games – Whistler, British Columbia – were memorable. Tens of Jews convened at the exclusive Pan Pacific Hotel located at the base of Whistler Mountain. People flocked to the hotel from communities in Hong Kong, Colorado, California, Kitchner, Ontario and more. Mike Flint, movie producer and participant of the past twelve Olympics, said, “Chabad has never had such a prime spot in the Olympics.”

Popular Seattle, Wash., caterer Leah’s Catering and the Stroum Jewish Community Center have launched a Purim-themed fundraising drive to benefit earthquake relief in Haiti.
Called “Hamentachen for Haiti,” the project, which launched on Monday, will send 100 percent of profits from the sales of the traditional jam-filled holiday cookie to the Chabad Haiti Relief Fund operated by Chabad-Lubavitch of the Dominican Republic.
