Russian Children Receive Kosher Treats
ULYANOVSK, Russia [CHI] — Over 100 children in Ulyanovsk received two packs of kosher hotdogs as a pre-Purim gift. These children are from (extremely) low income families, disabled, or from divorced and single parent homes.
This gift was kindly donated by an American organization known as the Fellowship Foundation.
Of course, the Jewish Center of Ulyanovsk took the opportunity to inform the parents of these children about the various programs currently running.
The children and their parents expressed their tremendous gratitude to the Fellowship Foundation and the Jewish Center for thinking and caring about them.
This is not the first time the Fellowship Foundation came to the rescue of the needy people of Ulyanovsk. This past summer, 100 children recieved clothes. Next month, the Fellowship Foundation pledged to send 100 shoes for poor and needy children of Ulyanovsk.
