Large Prayer Rally Shows Local Solidarity With Israel

West Coast Chabad Lubavitch

Los Angeles, CA – Summoning all the hopeful energy of youth, hundreds of Southern California children prayed today for the security of the Israeli people at a solidarity rally organized by West Coast Chabad. The gathering at Los Angeles’ Rabbi Schneerson Square brought over a thousand adults and children together to demonstrate their support for Israel as it copes with terrorist kidnappings of soldiers and rocket attacks on civilians.

Israelis and Americans are coming together at the United Nations today to show their support for the people and Government of Israel, especially the families of the three kidnapped soldiers — Gilad Shalit, Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Nobel Laureate Elie Weisel, and Ambassadors Dan Gillerman and Aryeh Mekel will be speaking.

Let's come together to show our friends and family in Israel that we support them!

Sydney, Australia - Yesterday, Sunday there was a massiv Rally for Eretz Yisroel in Sydney with well over a thousand people attending.

The Chabad Yeshiva was there putting on teffilin as the Rebbe directed during times of war in Israel.

The Bochurim of the Yeshiva gathered all the kids of the community and said the 12 psukin and kapital tehillim, and some stories were said about how some soldiers were saved by putting on teffilin and how by kids saying tehillim and saying the pesukim, can have an effect in Eretz Yisroel.
