Shluchim – Bochurim Gather for Inspiration

This Shabbos, the holy city of Tsfas was host to 50 of the Rebbe’s Shluchim. As part of the world wide conventions for Talidim HaShluchim, bochurim from the eight Lubavitcher Yeshivas in Israel came together to unite and farbreng.

After weeks of preparation the grand Shabbos finally arrived. This is the first hand report we received:

“Friday we all gathered at the beautiful Campus Yisrael Aryeh Leib – Yeshivas Tzeirei Hashluchim – Tsfas. The program began with a buffet lunch, as Levi Teldon, one of the hosting Shluchim, welcomed everyone and introduced the guest mashpia, Rabbi Gordon of London. Rabbi Gordon focused the crowd as per the goals of this kinus.”

The Power Of Reading a Pa”n & Tehillim On Lag BaOmer.

The Rebbe writes in a letter, “…It is definitely known that the day of Lag B’omer was referred to by the Rashb“i (whose passing is today) as ”the day of his rejoicing“, and it is also know that ”joy breaks all boundaries“, and reading the Pa”n on the day of the rejoicing of the Rashb”i at the resting place of our Nasi, who is the one that reveals the secrets of torah in this generation…”

Like the rebbe writes, that Lag BaOmer is a “Yom Segula” [a day of merit] for reading Pa”nim and saying Tehillim at the Ohel, and in wake of recent tragedies that has recently plagued Anas”h L”A, members of Anash are arranging that the entire Tehillim be read at the Ohel tomorrow, Lag BaOmer, starting at 5:00am. The organizers told CrownHeights.info that they are imploring and inviting everyone to please come and join in this effort.

Home Burglarized, victims seeking our help

This past Thursday evening a newly married couple who live at 742 Montgomery St. on the corner of Albany Ave. came home to find that their home had been rummaged through and all the jewelry had been stolen.

The couple had left their apartment at 8:30pm to go and do their laundry and came back home at around 10:30pm. Some of the pieces of jewelry that was stolen were heirlooms from the Kallahs mother.
