    The year is 5730 – 1970, you can see the partilal poster to the right that it celebrates a special year in the Rebbe’s leadership. That year was 20 years.

    Besides for the fact that the Rebbe’s face matches that of 5730 and Rabbi Gutnick, who is standing behind the Rebbe in uniform, was by the parade in 5730.

    Uncle Yossi was organizing Lag B’ Omer parades since he was 26 yrs old , He printed Lag B’Omer brochures and Mesibos shabbos guides out of his house at 346 New York ave in 1957 .The Greatest Leader and Mechanech for over 79 yrs.

    It is Rabbi Gutnick on the left of the Rebbe in the picture. There is a story behind the fact that he is wearing a uniform from the Australian Army where he was Army chaplain for many years. The Rebbe made some comment -forgive me i dont remember what it was- to him about being a soldier… -basically something that caused a frantic rush to get his uniform sent to America in time for the parade of that year. -and in 1970 that was quite a feat!

    Rabbi Chaim Gutnik (Australia), The Rebbe, Rabbi Chadakov A"H (the Rebbe’s personal secratary for many years), Uncle Yossi (Currently on Shlichus helping his son in Poway, CA) Rabbi JJ Hecht A"H – mostly blocked by the telephone post.

    Just to mention, Uncle Yossi’s grandson is becoming 3 today! (Shimon, ben Mendel & Chana Gittle Goldstein) MAZEL TOV!
