The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) in conjunction with the Department of Sanitation (DSNY) today announced the suspension of Alternate Side Parking (ASP) regulations Citywide for Thursday, December 31 to facilitate snow removal. However, parking meters will remain in effect throughout the City.

Alternate Side Parking Rules are Suspended Today

Alternate Side Parking Rules Suspended Friday

Alternate side parking (street cleaning) regulations are suspended on Friday, December 25. Because it is is a major legal holiday, parking meter regulations are also suspended.

On major legal holidays, stopping, standing, and parking are permitted, except in areas where stopping, standing, and parking rules are in effect 7 days a week (for example, “No Standing Anytime”).

We thank G-d for the great miracle he has shown us, and in this merit the entire Crown Heights community is invited to take part in a Kiddusha Raba on Shabbos afternoon in Kahal Yeshiva in Beis Rivka on Crown Street.

Six members of our community, Volunteers in Shomrim faced up to 25 years in prison, and by the grace of g-d the truth was shown through and they were vindicated.

Shomrim Invites the Community to a Kiddush

We thank G-d for the great miracle he has shown us, and in this merit the entire Crown Heights community is invited to take part in a Kiddusha Raba on Shabbos afternoon in Kahal Yeshiva in Beis Rivka on Crown Street.

Today, Tuesday closing arguments will conclude and this will be the last day to be able to come and show your support.

After a month of long and drawn out court proceedings in which six Crown Heights men, who volunteer in Shomrim, were charged with a crime, the trial finally draws close to an end. Last week Wednesday the prosecution rested after calling its 9th witness.
