Incredible Display of Jewish Pride at First-Ever Sofi Stadium Menorah Lighting
On Sunday, December 18th, the nearly 70k thousand fans attending the Chargers-Titans game took part in the first-ever Menorah Lighting held at Sofi Stadium. Hosted by CTeen International and Chabad of Redondo Beach, it was a powerful demonstration of Pirsumei Nissa and Jewish pride.
Car Parade, Grand Menorah Lighting and Concert Light up Baltimore
Close to 100 Menorah topped vehicles and Police vehicles paraded through Northwest Baltimore and Baltimore County led by Baltimore City and County Police Departments, spreading the light and joy of Chanukah. The Parade was led by 12 Police Motorcycles and Hundreds of people came out of their houses to watch the parade pass by.
Innovation Meets Tradition at Chabad of Orange County Chanukah Celebrations
The Mega Latke Sizzle, the first of its kind in Orange County, had chefs of all ages cooking latkes together. A highlight was a special guest on stilts, who was introduced as the “Tallest Latke Sizzler!” Held at the new Chabad Center for Jewish life, families peeled, grated and sizzled delicious potato pancakes.
Beverly Hills Celebrates Chanukah with Mayor and Notable Community Members
Over six hundred happy faces were seen on Sunday, the first night of Hanukkah at the Maybourne Hotel in Beverly Hills (Beverly Canon Gardens), hosted by the JEM Community Center, with a grand setup of a large 10 foot Menorah, music, face painting, photo booths, fruit carts, latkes, and of course the traditional donuts.
