With great sadness and pain we inform you of the extremely untimely passing of HaBochur HaTomim Yisroel (Izzy) Woonteiler of Los Angeles, CA at the young age of 23.

Yisroel was getting out of his car last week when he was hit by a passing truck who fled the scene of the accident, suffering critical injuries which later claimed his life.

Yisroel is survived by his parents Reuven and Basya Woonteiler along with his brothers and sisters.

UPDATE: The Levaya will be on Thursday [Aug. 9] and will be passing by 770 at around 10:45am

With great sadness and pain we inform you of the extremely untimely passing of a young woman, Toby Eagle OBM of Baltimore, MD at the young age of 20.

Toby passed away following a horrible car crash early Friday morning when the car she was a passenger in flipped over while on their way to a Shliach for Shabbos.

Toby is survived by her parents Zalman Dovid and Yehudis Eagle along with her brothers and sisters.

The Levaya will be take place on Sunday, 4:00pm at the Hebrew Orthodox Memorial Cemetery located at 6820 German Hill Road, Baltimore, MD 21222.

He was a Mechanach For over 50 years in the Hebrew Day School in Pittsburgh, as well as Being The Mohel of Pittsburgh Which Through he brought thousands of people Tachas Kanfei Hashcinah through Bris Milah.

With great sorrow the news has been received a few moments ago about the passing in good old age of Mrs. Ethel Zuckor OBM, Mother of Mrs. Shaindel Marantz and Mrs. Rivka Kaye of Kfar Chabad. She passed away at the age of 102.

She merited to see her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren who go in the way of Chassidus and are occupied with the Rebbe’s Shlichus. Her long life was attributed to when she once passed by the Rebbe for dollars, the Rebbe blessed her with Arichus Yomim.

The funeral will set out today, 29 Tamuz, 6:30pm from her daughter Shaindel Marantz’s home, 205 New Shikunim Kfar Chabad, Israel, and at 8:00pm it will set out from the Bait Shamgar Funeral Home to the Mount of Olives ”Har Hazaisim”.

Prayer Vigil to be held for Injured Cop

Crown Heights, Brooklyn — At 5:00pm today a prayer vigil will be held in front of the 71st Precinct for Officer Russell Timoshenko who was shot twice in the head and neck early Monday morning while performing a traffic stop along with his partner Officer Herman Yan.

Officer Yan was released yesterday from Kings County Hospital to his home following the injuries he sustained after his bulletproof vest stopped a bullet that may have killed him. Officer Timoshenko is laying in a coma in the hospital with a bullet still lodged in his head.

Religious leaders and community leaders along with residents and Police Officers are expected to attend the vigil that will be held in front of the 71st Precinct on New York Ave and Empire Blvd. The public is invited to attend.

Request for a Prayer for the Recovery of the Injured Officers

Early this morning two officers of the NYPD who are assigned to the 71st precinct which is the one that protects our streets were shot while performing a traffic stop of a vehicle that’s license plates did not match the car, the two officers were shot.

Officer Russell Timoshenko, 23, was reported to be in grave condition with two wounds to the face and with bullets lodged in the back of his skull. His partner, Officer Herman Yan, 26, also was wounded, but a shot to his chest was stopped by his bullet-resistant vest.

Readers are requested to please have them in your prayers for a complete and speedy recovery.
