With barely 30 hours left until the start of the International Kinus Hashluchim, thousands of ‘welcome bags’ have been prepared by Merkos and are ready to be distributed to the Shluchim upon registration.

Over 3,000 Chabad Shluchos and their guests gathered Sunday evening for a Gala Banquet at the Manhattan Hilton Hotel, the culmination and highlight of the five-day International Conference of Women Emissaries.
On Sunday morning, the Shluchos gathered for a resource fair at the Oholei Torah ballroom, with vendors and innovators introducing the attendees to various programs, products and ideas to enhance their Shlichus back home. The fair was followed by sessions and workshops presented by various Shluchos at Beis Rivkah on Lefferts Ave.

Rivky Klein was watching the weather carefully this week. There was a snowstorm in New York City—along the entire northeast coast, to be exact—but Klein, of Chabad-Lubavitch of Tennessee in Memphis, didn’t want that to derail her plans. She and more than 2,000 other women are all signed up and ready to participate in an annual program—the International Convention of Chabad-Lubavitch Shluchos — designed to rejuvenate and inspire the thousands of women who serve Chabad centers around the world.
Motzai Shabbos, the Shluchos enjoyed a Melava Malka and farbrengen in the Oholei Torah gym and ballroom. Chairing the event was Mrs. Leah Levine, Shlucha in Oak Park, California. The theme of the evening was “Grow the Flame! Shining our way to Geulah”.
