Sydney Lit Up by Chanukah Menorah Parade

After weeks of hard work by Chabad Youth NSW and the Rabbinical students of the Yeshiva Centre – Chabad NSW HQ, Car Menorahs and Chanukah Flags were set on top of cars and vans in order to parade through the streets of Sydney and remind people of the great miracles of Chanukah.

Occupy Copenhagen Damages Public Menorah

In celebration of Chanukah, over 600 people joined Chabad of Copenhagen’s Chanukah in town, a 2-part festivity: the public outdoor menorah lighting, followed by an indoor party in the elegant Lumbaya hall in the world famous Tivoli gardens in Denmark’ capital.

Canadian Lawmakers Celebrate Chanukah with Chabad

The Canadian Federation of Chabad Lubavitch hosted Ministers, Members of Parliament, Senators and their staff for a pre Chanukah event on Parliament Hill. This annual event provides the Parliament Hill community with the opprtunity to celebrate this joyous holiday with senior representatives of Canada’s Jewish community.

Kids Enjoy ‘Chanukah in Outer Space’ with ‘Moon-orah’

Ushering in the first night of Chanukah, more than 250 people filled Colonial Lanes in Chester for “Chanukah in Outer Space,” hosted by Chabad of Orange County, for a party that was “out of this world!” The highlights were cosmic bowling and dreidel games, buffet dinner, crafts, grand menorah lighting ceremony with an “Outer Space Moon-orah”, a fabulous Hebrew School choir and an awesome fire and glow show!

Chabad of the Valley’s Chanukah @ Citywalk celebrated its 10th anniversary this year. The largest Chanukah celebration on the West Coast with thousands in attendance has become an annual fixture on the L.A. calendar. According to Rabbi Mayer Greene, the event’s emcee, the exciting concert and celebration had the participation of those who identify themselves as orthodox, conservative, reform or even unaffiliated Jews.
