Yeshivas Kayitz of Minnesota went on a grand trip to South Dakota, where they visited one of the nation’s most famous landmarks: Mount Rushmore. The trip continued with water tubing, ATV trails, and several other activities and landmarks in the American Midwest.
Campers at Gan Yisroel in Parksville, NY enjoyed ‘Carnival Day’ on Friday. Each bunk created a game which campers would play in pairs; the winner of each game received a ticket which would be cashed in for prizes at the end of the day.
Campers enjoyed their second week at Gan Israel of Lyon, France, where Jewish children from all over the city are given the wonderful dual experience of learning about their faith and having a blast.
This week, Camp Gan Yisroel of Simcha Monica went on a trip to Six Flags. Before going on the trip, they were briefed by the head counselor about the rules which must be followed in such a large area. After listing all the rules, the head counselor made an offer: “Whichever group of campers will find a Jew and put on Teffilin with him, they will be rewarded – each Jew, another prize!”
Talmidim and Staff of Y.S.P. in Morristown spent a day at Six Flags Great Adventure, where they enjoyed the great weather, rides and roller-coasters – and did Mivtzoim.
Camp L’man Achai, an overnight camp in Upstate New York for boys ages 8-16 from newly-observant families, had a wonderful first visiting day this past Sunday.
BOG war (the fist-month version of color war, with three teams: Blue, Orange and Green) came as a surprise last week to campers at Gan Yisroel in Parksville, NY.

Last week, CGI Bat-Mitzvah Experience (B-ME) campers spent a whirlwind weekend in the Chabad enclave of Crown Heights in Brooklyn, NY, where they toured a slew of local attractions and significant locations including the Rebbe’s home, office and shul.

The girls of camp Emunah’s Junior division were split up into two teams for color war: Team Eretz Yisroel (blue) and team Chutz La’aretz (red), representing the two different approaches to bringing Moshiach.
Bochurim attending the Yeshiva Summer Program in Morristown, NJ were treated to an ice skating trip on Thursday, July 5th. In addition to the skating, the Bochurim enjoyed laser tag and arcade games as well.
On Wednesday night, Camp Gan Israel in Parksville, NY enjoyed an amazing Talent Night, where the campers and staff were treated to a dazzling display of raw talent performed by their fellow campers and staff.
Although Canadians celebrate July 1st as Canada day and the 4th of July is a regular working day, Mr. Sidney Spiegel was pleased he took the day off and flew up with his wife Naomi to visit the fledgling new overnight Camp Gan Israel in Haliburton, Ontario.
