We have lost a friend. So young a man, so fine a Shliach, so short a life.
And even as we have accepted in faith all that has come to pass, “Baruch dayan emet”, we are still left unable to stem the flood of tears. We are left with a raw cry of pain.
Levi was such a powerful soul. He loved Shlichus, he lived Shlichus. Shlichus was the very air he breathed.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — This morning, at 8:00am, the victims of last weeks purse robbery received a call from the 71st Precinct, asking them to come down to the station house for a meeting. The couple met a detective at the precinct, but he was more concerned with the video appearing online than with the crime.

The glory and the grandeur of South Africa’s mother synagogue, having been founded in 1841, was recaptured on Friday night October 15 when over 1 200 people flocked to Cape Town’s Gardens Shul to celebrate the third anniversary of its Friday Night Live (FNL). An initiative of the shul, it is now being emulated in synagogues in Johannesburg, Sydney and elsewhere.
This past Moitzoi Shabbos, Bochurim from Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati went Ice skating and slurpees with the Cincinnati Community, as one member of the Cummunity joked “it's great to see Bochurim excited for other things then learning”.
