Yagdil Torah Compiles Publication For Yud Gimmel Iyar

The 13th of Iyar is the day of the passing of R’ Yisroel Aryeh Leib, third son of the Rabbi and Mekubal R’ Levi Yitzchok and Rebbetzin Chana Schneersohn and brother of our Rebbe. The Yagdil Torah organization has compiled a publication with Mishnayos, selected stories, and rare correspondents of R’ Yisroel Aryeh Leib in honor of Yud Gimmel Iyar.

Shabbos at the BESHT: Rabbi Shlomo Litvin is a Shliach of the Rebbe in Lexington Kentucky. A prolific writer and educator, he speaks internationally on Jewish issues. Rabbi Litvin serves in numerous leadership roles in Kentucky and reaches hundreds of thousands online. He will be giving this week’s shiur on “The Rebbe’s view on לֹ֥א תַעֲמֹ֖ד עַל־דַּ֣ם רֵעֶ֑ךָ”.

Weekly Letter: The Essence of A Jew

In celebrating the joyous day of Lag B’Omer this coming week – when we remember Rabbi Akiva and his colleagues who displayed great strength and self-sacrifice during the oppressive Roman rule of the Land of Israel – we share a letter of the Rebbe. In it, the Rebbe explains the essence of a Jew and cites the famous analogy of our Sages – of a fish in water where it needs to live.  Living in one’s vital element is basic to one’s survival.
