When Rabbi Yossi Rodal Was Diagnosed With Cancer, He Decided Not to Let It Go to Waste

At the 42nd International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries in New York City this week, Rabbi Yossi Rodal finds himself being stopped every few feet by his fellow emissaries. Classmates from yeshivah, colleagues he’s spoken to via WhatsApp over the past four months, rabbis who’ve been following his story from continents away: They all want to embrace him, to hear his voice. Four months ago, that voice nearly vanished.
