The impact of the new 12 Pesukim pull-out pen is being felt in camps, schools, and children’s programs worldwide, where shluchim and mechanchim have been using it as a simple but powerful tool to help make the Pesukim more personal, relatable, and alive.
They serve a number of Catskill shtetls and individuals living in the mountains and valleys in between. In an area known for swelling with visitors in the summer, they care for the year-round community as well, including the large number of elderly Jews who live in assisted living facilities or spend their time in day programs.
Mrs. Mariashi Groner is the long-time head of the Charlotte Jewish Day School. She and her husband, Rabbi Yossi Groner, have served as the Rebbe’s emissaries to North Carolina since 1980. She was interviewed in February 2015.
