A gala banquet dinner celebrating Chabad’s 10 years of service to the greater West Hempstead, NY community took place Sunday night, March 18, at the prestigious Garden City Hotel. Chabad of West Hempstead, under the leadership of Rabbi Yossi and Chaya R. Lieberman, is also responsible for activities at neighboring colleges Hofstra University, Adelphi University and Nassau Community college.

French Police Close In on Toulouse Killer

French police searching for a gunman who shot dead four people at a Jewish school in Toulouse have launched a raid in the north of the city. Two police officers have been injured in the operation, which is reported to have begun before dawn and is ongoing.
