On Monday 20th of Ellul, in the presence of delegations of distinguished local and foreign guests, sponsors and dignitaries, the Ukrainian Jewish community celebrated the grand opening of the newly refurbished building of Yeshivas Lubavitch Ukraine. Located in the thriving city of Dnepr, the Yeshiva services the children of Ukrainian and International shluchim.

We wish to advise our patients that for your convenience the Pediatric Office on Eastern Parkway will be open on Rosh Hashana, Thursday September 21st (1st day of Yom Tov) from 12:00pm to 6:00pm and Friday September 22nd (2nd day of Yom Tov) from 12:00pm to 6:00pm,for walk-in urgent care.

40-Year-Old Tishrei Footage Restored

The famed photographer Reb Levi Yitzchak Freidin is known for his most amazing footage he took during his visits of Tishrei by the Rebbe. In fact, he would produce a documentary each year containing the highlights of his footage, and have it shown at a grand viewing in Eretz Yisroel. After Freidin’s passing, JEM acquired his highlight footage shown in Israel.

Food Crawl to Give a Taste of Crown Heights

JMenu, Toys For Hospitalized Children and the NCFJE have teamed up to bring an exciting event to Crown Heights foodies — a kosher ‘food crawl’ to 25 local eateries, each serving a taste of their signature dish or beverage for participants to sample along the route. Attendees will enjoy a variety of food and drink, local vibes, and a great day out with family and friends!
