After Kherson Dam Breach, Chabad Evacuates the Vulnerable

Amid the uncertainty and the fast-changing situation over the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam, the synagogue of Kherson, which sits on higher ground, has become a temporary shelter for several dozen families. Rabbi Yosef Wolff, chief rabbi of Kherson and director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Kherson, is working to help displaced families.

For this week’s Tuesday’s Tips, the New York Department of State’s Division of Consumer Protection is warning New Yorkers of a potential scam called “juice jacking,” where thieves place hidden skimming units inside USB ports of public cellphone charging kiosks at airports, hotels and other public spaces to steal data.
