Community Celebrates Rabbi Moshe Feller’s 70th Birthday
West S. Paul, MN — Friends of Lubavitch of Minnesota from around the world recently celebrated the70th birthday of Rabbi Moshe Feller, Shliach of the Rebbe to the Upper Midwest. Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty issued a proclamation proclaiming the birthday as “Rabbi Moshe Feller Day” in recognition of the great work that he does. In an effort spearheaded by Mrs. Y. Introlegator people donated to Upper Midwest Merkos Chabad Lubavitch in multiples of seventy.

How the Rebbe understood the Holocaust
In his op-ed in Haaretz on June 1 (“God as surgeon”), Prof. Yehuda Bauer refers to the opinion of the late Lubavitcher Rebbe regarding the Holocaust.

The house located on Crown St between Troy and Schenectady, was burglarized while the residents were sleeping. The robbers broke in using a crowbar, breaking off the side door of the house, they emptied the house of some loose cash and Tzedaka Pushkas.
The residents woke up the next morning not knowing they were burglarized, until later on in the day when they realized their side door was missing. The residents said that they heard someone walking around at 1:30 AM and thought it was one of them.

Stony Point, NY — A teacher and three 16-year-old Lubavitcher Yeshiva Mesivta (Ocean Pkwy) students wandered off a Bear Mountain climbing trail and had to be plucked from a 200-foot-high ledge by rappelling rescuers while hovering police helicopters lit the face of the cliff.
