No English Classes for Bais Rivka Students – Until Further Notice
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A recorded message on the Bais Rivka, Campus Chomesh call line informed parents that ‘due to technical difficulties Pre-1a through 8th grade will only have Hebrew classes 12:00pm starting Wednesday Chof Bais Elul until further notice’.
CrownHeights.info received dozens of emails from fuming parents saying things such as ‘will Bais Rivka reimburse the parents for the babysitters, along with loss of work to have to rearrange for someone to be home to pick up the kids?’ along with statements such as ‘How can they do this?’.

The first episode of the cartoon, hosted by character Rabbi Infinity, “your favorite kabbalist,” describes, in the time of a standard television commercial, how each person is looking to fill a hole inside of them, whether it be by eating candies or seeking pleasures, success and all the melodramas of life. The animated rabbi with a colorful kippa and sunglasses explains that the only way to fill the G-d-sized hole is to start acting G-dly.

KFAR CHABAD, Israel — Israel's Elite Academy Program sent 15 girls to the Chabad-Lubavitch Beth Rivkah High School in Kfar Chabad, where they will learn for at least a year. Organizers of the initiative ñ whose affiliated program Naaleh began in 1992 as an effort to bring teenagers from the former Soviet Union for high school study in Israel and this year sponsored some 440 students from Europe, South America and Australia ñ hope the students who are participating in the programs will ultimately finish their educations in Israel.
