In time for Yom Kippur, Infinity Productions, the production Company that produces music videos and CD albums for the Chabad Vocalist Mayer Rivkin, has announced the release today of its latest music video entitled “The Promise.” In this moving music video/slide-show, Rivkin sings the popular Chabad melody known to many as “Yaaleh,” frequently sung during the evening prayers of Yom Kippur.

Lubavitcher Yeshivah Celebrates Rabbi Simpson’s Birthday
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — This afternoon, Wednesday, the students and teachers of United Lubavitcher Yeshivah on Crown St celebrated the birthday of their principal, Rabbi Simpson. During lunch he gave out chocolates to all the boys while they sang Chashidishe Nigunim. During the singing, Rabbi Karp surprised him with a beautiful birthday cake.
Dominican President Meets Chabad in Crown Heights
CROWN HEIGHTS — President of the Dominican Republic, Mr. Leonel Fernandez visited the international headquarters of Chabad-Lubavitch in Brooklyn, Tuesday evening, where he met with the leadership of the movement.
With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Ben Tzion Lipsker, the head Shliach in Arad, Israel. He passed today, Wednesday afternoon in an Israeli hospital. Rabbi Lipsker, 65 passed after battling a serious illness.
In addition to being the head Shliach in Arad, Rabbi Lipsker served as the chief rabbi of the city and also served in the Chabad Rabbinical Bais Din in Israel.
He is survived by his wife Sarah and his children, Chana Mendelson (Arad, Israel), Esther Druk (Omrim, Israel), Rut Hilman (Petach Tikva, Israel) and Nechamah Kozlovsky (Kfar Chabad, Israel). And his brothers, Zalmen Lipsker (Philadelphia, PA) and Eli Lipsker (Crown Heights).
The Levaya will be Thursday at 10am at his home in Arad. He will be buried on Mount Olives in Jerusalem.
