After over three years in which IDF St.-Sgt. Gilad Schalit has been held in Hamas captivity in the Gaza Strip, Israel breathed a sigh of relief on Friday afternoon after video footage of the captive soldier was released to the media and aired on Israeli television channels.

JCM Presents a Special Sukkos Screening of My Land

Chol HaMoed Sukkos Experience on Kingston Ave

Monday, the first day of Chol HaMoed, Tzivos Hashem will host their 29th annual Sukkos Experience on Kingston Ave. There will be mechanical rides, inflatable rides a petting Zoo, pony rides, hay rides and much more. There also be food stands and a Sukkah on premises. They are going to be open on Monday at 12:00pm through 6:00pm, on Kingston Ave [between Carroll St and Eastern Pkwy].

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Students of Lubavicher Yeshiva, are in the final stages of organizing Mivzoim for this coming Sukkos.

The 8th grade is inviting all students of grades 5 through 7 to participate in the mivtzoim on Friday morning, Hoshana Raba, after last years tremendous success. The mivtzoim is one of several programs which the all new Chayolei Beis Dovid, 8th grade program of Lubavitcher Yeshiva, has organized for the students of the Yeshiva. NEW YORK, NY — With terror suspect Najibullah Zazi in custody, accused to plotting to bomb NYC mass transit, experts are now weighing on how Zazi’s purchases from a beauty supply store were very dangerous. They say that Zazi “had the means to kill scores of people — not hundreds or thousands,” with retired FBI explosives expert Denny Kline saying, “These explosives are meant to be concealed easily and deployed easily and kill and maim and cause havoc in small areas.”
