MYFOXNY.COM — After a series of public hearing on proposed service cuts, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority issued Friday a list of revised proposals for service cuts to help close a nearly $800 billion budget gap.

This Sunday Pre 1-A of Oholei Torah had a Father and Son Model Seder. The boys each had their own Kaara and Haggadah. They each read from their Haggadah and said each of the steps of the Seder in Yiddish. What nachas it was to see 100 five years olds reading Kiddush from the Haggadah. MORRISTOWN, NJ [CHI] — Bochurim in the Morristown Semicha program got tested last week by Rabbi Dovid Schochet from Toronto on Hilchos Taaruvos. Rabbi Schochet was very impressed with the knowlage the Bochurim displayed.
It was a very bizarre scene which unfolded on Kingston Avenue on Shabbos afternoon. As people were heading to Shul for Mincha, 4 Bochurim were being taken by police officers in handcuffs down Kingston and to the police station.
The first four days of JLI’s Israel trip was packed with excitement and none stop enjoyment. From early Tuesday morning until the final moments before shabbos the participants had their hands full as they explored and discovered Israel on a whole new level.
