A short-lived but severe thunderstorm just passed through Crown Heights, knocking down a large tree branch under which an unlucky resident parked his/her vehicle. At least seven Israelis were killed and 20 others injured this morning in a terror attack on Israeli tourists’ bus traveling in Burgas, Bulgaria.
This morning Rav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, a Lithuanian Gadol widely considered to be the ‘Posek Hador,’ passed away after a weakening of his general health. Rav Elyashiv was 102.
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A man was apprehended by Shomrim last night after he went for a ‘walk’ on President Street and exposed himself to multiple women – the last of which was witnessed by a number of Shomrim volunteers. Police arrested the man after a neighborhood-wide chase.
