In a special interview with JEM a number of years ago, he told how the Rebbe would visit his mother in her home. “I saw how every time when the Rebbe would leave he would straighten the chairs and a photo on the wall. This occurred on the first, second and third time. When Rebbetzin Chana noticed that I had noticed she told me what was behind it, but asked me not to tell anyone...”

Rabbi Benzion Chanowitz and his congragation arrived at the shul on Shabbos morning, horrified to discover that the Shul was ransacked and the Sefer Torah was missing.
