They don’t want to admit it, but a lot of working dads don’t want to be around their kids. That sounds so horrible. And, in fact, it’s incredibly sad. Because, for many, the solution is a lot closer than believed, once you step back and take the time to see what’s really going on.
Hundreds of friends and supporters of Chabad in Berlin gathered for an evening of thanks and recognition for those who helped make the Jewish center’s activities a reality in the past 15 years.
Over 200 people gathered together last night at Chabad of Boca Raton, FL to witness the Chag HaSmicha – the Ordination of the 14 members of inaugural class of Machon Menachem. A palpable sense of history pervaded the air as the first ever Rabbis to be trained and ordained in Palm Beach county received their Semicha.
It is the most vibrant and powerful demographic, yet it was almost untouched. Overlooked for years by some because of its complex ideology and spirit, teenage outreach was scarce.

At around noon today, a Jewish Crown Heights resident discovered that his newly purchased car had been stolen. He contacted the NYPD, but they were unable to file a report or begin an investigation because the car’s registration and other paperwork had not yet been prepared.
