On Wednesday, June 13, Anash in S. Paulo, Brazil were treated to a special evening. Taking advantage of a visit by Rabbi Elkonoh Shmotkin, who was accompanying the ‘My Encounter’ interview team on a journey collecting precious testimonies and stories from several residents of the city, a special presentation took place in the ‘Beit Chabad Central,’ exhibiting historic documents pertinent to the early years of the Rebbe’s life.
The women’s groups of the three local Chabad centers in Rockland County, NY united this week for a beautiful end-of-year Women’s event entitled “A Tribute to the Jewish Woman.”
