CGI Nashville Has Most Successful Summer Yet

As Chabad of Nashville, Tennessee has just recently moved onto its beautiful new building on a nine acre campus, filled with trees, birds, deer and the most beautiful outdoor surroundings, it has just concluded the most successful and accomplishing summer sessions of Camp Gan Israel. CGI Nashville is led by Shluchim Rabbi Yitzchok and Esther Tiechtel.

The exciting and tasty Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society Flatbush barbecue will grace East 22nd Street and Avenue I, in front of the home of Pinny and Yaffa Rand, this coming Tuesday, August 7 at 7:00pm, and will benefit the scores of cancer-stricken patients in the Flatbush and Crown Heights communities.

New Chabad Center in Chevron Complete

A new Chabad House will be dedicated shortly in the Kiryat Arba Neighborhood of Chevron. The new Chabad center is called Beis Chaya Mushka, named after young Chaya Mushka Atiyah, OBM, daughter of Shluchim Rabbi Victor and Devorah Atiyah. Chaya Mushka was killed in a tragic fire on the 20th of Av six years ago.

Shomrim Volunteer’s Car Torched

Crown Heights [CHI] — A member of the Crown Heights Shomrim volunteer patrol woke up this morning to find that his car had been torched. A burning substance had been tossed between the windshield and the hood, incapacitating the car and causing substantive exterior damage.
