Walmart and MK Team Up to Celebrate Chanukah
This year, the Walmart on Jean-Talon in Montreal is going all out to give its Jewish customers a Chanukah treat. Centrally located just off Decarie, between the de Vimy neighbourhood and Cote-St-Luc/Hampstead, Walmart recognizes that the Jewish community of Montreal forms an important part of their customer base. Together with the MK-Canada’s Kosher Certifier, this is Walmart’s way of saying “thank you” for their patronage.

The upper house of Parliament passed the draft law in October, and the final vote means the right to religious circumcision is now guaranteed. A court in Cologne previously ruled it a criminal act.
