Talented Crown Heights videographer Avraham Edery compiled a riveting short film of this year’s Chanukah Menorah parade, which snaked through New York City Monday night spreading the message and joy of the festival of lights throughout the great metropolis.

Historic Menorah Lighting at Colorado State Capitol
An historic moment took place in Denver, Colorado on the seventh night of Chanukah. For the first time in history, a public menorah was erected in front of the State Capitol building, and was lit by Colorado’s Jewish Senator, Michael Bennet (D).

Russian Jewry Celebrates Wounded Shliach’s Recovery
On Thursday, the last day of Chanukah, hundreds gathered at the Marina Roscha Chabad Shul in Moscow for a Seudas Hoda’a, thanking Hashem for the miraculous recovery of Shliach to Derbent, Dagestan Rabbi Ovadia Isakov after he was shot in the chest by a Muslim extremist last summer.

Florida Anash Mark Hey Teves with Farbrengen
On Motzei Shabbos, Chabad of South Broward, Florida marked Hey Teves with a Farbrengen, led by Rabbi Rafael Tennenhaus.

Thousands Celebrate Chanukah at Dutch Royal Palace
This year, once again, close to a thousand people attended the annual Menorah lighting in Amsterdam’s Dam Square, the most famous square in Holland, located in front of the royal palace.

One of the Rebbes instructions marking Hey Teves was the encouragement to buy Seforim. Honoring this Kehot has been hosting a sale, marking down Seforim by as much as 50% off. Hundreds have been taking advantage in person, with thousands around the world placing their orders by phone or online.

The Rohr Chabad at Franklin & Marshall College offered free rides on a horse-and-buggy with a menorah strapped to its roof last week.

Photos: Oholei Torah Hosts Hey Teves Book Fair
In honor of Hey Teves, Oholei Torah students enjoyed a full program from Grades Pre 1A-8, including: a Seforim Sale, an overview of the Rebbeim’s Seforim, a Chinese auction and a special presentation by a group of the eighth grade students who showed special Seforim including an 1800’s edition of Lekutai Torah.
