Lamplighters: Getting It Right the First Time Around
Ignite it and they will come. What began as small sparks of hope and determination in four young couples and a lone educator around a Crown Heights dining room table in November 2009, was celebrated on Sunday night, June 15th, by two hundred people around thirty elegantly adorned candle-lit tables in one of the newest venues in Brooklyn.

Jewish and Black Teen Taken Into Custody Following Incident
A large group of rowdy teenagers set out on a course of menacing and harassment on Eastern Parkway, culminating with one pulling a knife on a Jewish man and threatening him. Meanwhile, two girls from the group accused a Jewish teen of threatening them with a gun.
