All summer camp programs have been cancelled – the children and their parents must remain at home so that they are near shelters. It is a very anxiety-filled situation, never knowing when or where the next rocket will hit. One can feel the tension and fear everywhere, especially among the children.

The students of the Chaya Aydel Seminary in Hallandale Beach, Florida celebrated their graduation in June, which also marked the conclusion of the seminary’s 12th year – its Bas Mitzvah.
Many have tried to understand why the Lubavitcher Rebbe was so influential in his lifetime, and why his memory continues to be potent and inspiring now twenty years after his passing. Having studied the Rebbe’s life in detail for many years, I think I have arrived at at least one possible answer.
