Sneak Peek into the Kinus Banquet Hall

The South Brooklyn Marine Terminal in Brooklyn, New York already played host last year to the monumental event – the Grand Gala Banquet of the Kinus Hashluchim. The scene is set to repeat once again itself Sunday evening. The following is a sneak peek at the crude commercial space being transformed into a gorgeous banquet hall.

Sixty’s Something: Group Reunites Each Year at Kinus

Most are turning 60 this year and they live on five continents, but the time and distance have not diminished the close connection felt by the Rabbinical College of America’s class of 1974. Every year, they sit together at the Friday-night meal during the International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries, catching up on each other’s lives, reliving memories of times past, sharing Chassidic insights and enjoying each other’s company.

One of the highs of the Kinus Hashluchim is when the Pan Kloli [general pan] is read at the Ohel. On Friday, all of the Shluchim who attending the Kinus signed the Pan Kloli, requesting improvement in world economy, strength to increase the number of Chabad Houses worldwide, spare us from tragedy and to take us out of Golus and bring Moshiach.
