In a momentous display of community Achdus, the Melbourne Chabad and general community gathered for a grand Melave Malka. The sold-out event at the St Kilda Town Hall, bedecked with exquisite crystal and silver décor as befitting the occasion, boasted over 500 people in attendance.

Historic Shluchim Gathering in Westport
More than 150 Shluchim from New York and New England gathered on Sunday, the 20th of Sivan, at the brand new Chabad Center in Westport, CT. The new center is a remodeled inn originally built in the early 1800s. Rabbi Yehuda Leib and Nechama Dina Kantor hosted the Kinus, which also served as a fitting Chanukas Habayis.

Shiur Aleph and Beis Zal Mark Successful Year
One of the many new initiatives of the Board of Directors that opened this past year, was the dedicated staff and structured program for Shiur Aleph and Beis divsion of the Beis Medrash Oholei Torah. Headed by Rabbi Nison Deitsch, the division had a most successful year, and a great interest in next year’s enrollment has been shown.
